When busy first homebuyer, Simone Fernandes, arrived in Brisbane from New Zealand recently, she knew she wanted to purchase a private, secure apartment – but most importantly, it had to be on the fast track to completion.
“I knew I was looking to move into somewhere fast. It had to be new, beautiful but also something that would be completed soon. I didn’t want to wait around for years for something to be constructed,” the 21-year old said.
Enter Your Style Homes’ recently sold out ‘Allure on Ludwick’ development at 58 Ludwick Street, Cannon Hill.
“I was drawn to Allure because it was tucked away and removed from the noise of a main road; it had boutique charm, nestled amongst trees with lots of natural light owing in, with an open oor plan, modern design and good security,” Ms Fernandes said.
We recognised the potential for smaller boutique developments in the area, which has 100 per cent sold out with renters now moving in.
Ms Fernandes said the low maintenance living was perfect for her busy lifestyle.
“As someone new to the country, I wanted the privacy that a smaller boutique development offered, with all the added benefits such as low maintenance living, high quality space and a beautiful balcony, but without the large volumes of residents,” Ms Fernandes said.
Ms. Fernandes’ job as an airline cabin crew member required her to start at varying hours of the day, so security was crucial.
“Sometimes I’m up very early for work, so I needed to have a very secure basement and car parking area, which Allure had,” she said. “What Allure represented was unbeatable.”
Your Style Homes Managing, Director Dean Parker, said Allure had been popular with investors due to Cannon Hill’s low vacancy rate of just 1.22 percent.
“One bedroom apartments at Allure started at $330,000 – well below the $400,000 to $499,000 price point considered the “sweet spot” for a one bedroom Brisbane apartment,” he said.
Allure is within 200m to Cannon Hill’s Kmart Plaza and 150 metres from the forthcoming East Village retail precinct.
